John is a Principal of Strategic Partnerships at Google, overseeing business development and partner management. He joined Google in 2019 to help run the EMEA Google Ads Partnership Programme, with an annual revenue of >£1b, and currently helps manage the Devices and Services business.

He is also a Director at Tancred Strix, which offers pro-bono and low-cost support for startups. Before Google, John held leadership roles in several entrepreneurial ventures and was formerly a Director of Strategy and Transformation at BT (2009-2016) and a Director at Appian (2001-2008), leading their marketing and product solution teams.

John has an MBA from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business, and a Masters of Education from the University of Virginia where he also completed his undergraduate studies. He supports organisations like Bliss, serving on advisory boards to help babies born prematurely.
