We are currently engaged by a leading insurance company based in Texas who are seeking an experienced Field Property Adjuster. You will be responsible for investigating and resolving a variety of large or severe property loss claims. You will travel to the loss site to conduct a thorough analysis and assist customers through their claims process. Responsibilities:
- On-site investigation of property damage, thorough review, and application of policy information and coverage details
- Setting financial reserves, and accurate and timely settlement of claims
- Investigate and resolve a variety of large or severe property loss claims
- Utilize experience, judgement, and investigation techniques to arrive at fair and accurate claim decisions
- Provide an exceptional customer experience to customers and third parties
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Document claim details, collect evidence, and maintain accurate records of investigations and settlements
- Promptly respond to inquiries, address concerns, and guide policyholders through the claims process
- Ability to work independently
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to property insurance and claims adjusting
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of related property claims handling experience
- All-lines or Property & Casualty adjuster license for Texas
- Strong investigative and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of property insurance policies, coverage, and claims processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to accurately assess property damage and determine fair settlements
- Exceptional writing, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with policyholders and stakeholders
- Valid driver’s license required plus an acceptable driving record
