You will be responsible for leading the North Texas Property Field Claims Team and strategic decision-making that impacts the claims department. Responsibilities:
- Providing strategic decision-making
- Ability to solve complex problems and inspire continuous improvement
- Leading the North Texas Property Field Claims Team
- Driving consistency across the claims process and achieve key performance outcomes
- Providing an exceptional customer experience to customers and third parties
- Utilizing technology and resources to leverage and enhance the claim handling process
- Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate effectively
- Utilizing experience, judgement, and investigation techniques to arrive at fair and accurate claim decisions
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to property insurance and claims adjusting
What we’re looking for:
- 6+ years of related property/casualty claims handling experience
- 2+ years of team management experience
- Strong investigative and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of property insurance policies, coverage, and claims processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional writing, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with policyholders and stakeholders
- Valid driver’s license required plus an acceptable driving record
