We are engaged by a global management consulting firm who are seeking an experienced Senior Associate with an actuarial background. This role focuses on healthcare consulting.

Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution
- Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems
- Use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current industry or sector trends
- Analyzing market, competitive, and other external drivers
- Contributing to projects involving actuarial aspects of commercial and government programs and issues in a major consulting firm or corporate environment
- Pricing, underwriting, health plan financial reporting, data analysis, and risk adjustment
- Know how and when to use tools available for a given situation and can explain the reasons for this choice
- Able to read situations and modify behavior to build quality relationships
- Seek and embrace opportunities which give exposure to different situations, environments and perspectives
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years actuarial experience
- 4+ actuarial exams
- Demonstrates through level abilities and a proven record of success with automation & digitization in a professional services environment
- Ability to research business and industry trends to develop a point of view to leverage in assisting with proposals and opportunities across multiple lines of service
- Experience creating a strategic roadmap with clients entering a new line of business or market, including the development of a proforma
- Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools to provide insights to clients
