We are currently engaged by a leading global insurance company who are seeking an experienced Senior Underwriter. Actuarial AVPs or Directors with Reserving and Pricing experience. You will be responsible for designing, underwriting, and pricing innovative digital product ideas. As Digital Underwriter, you will work in an Agile team with support from a significant technical underwriting and actuarial team.

Responsibilities:
- Support Product viability assessments with clearly defined exposure analysis and product pricing to feed customer affordability analysis
- Modelling using traditional and non-traditional data, including 3rd party data sources (structured and unstructured)
- Modelling of product P&L’s
- Focusing on sustainable product development
- Work closely with Digital teams, key account managers, regional and local Underwriters in effectively pricing & building unique coverages for partners and end consumers
- Delivery of pricing and coverage parameters to agreed timelines.
- Focus on building products which can deliver enhanced customer experience
- Design and contribute to the creation of the different “sandboxes”
- Post-launch monitoring of product performance for take-up ratios, purchase propensity, customer stickiness and profitability
- Ongoing portfolio analysis of the digital business, making recommendations to the business leaders to increase performance and profitability
- Communication and collaboration with Chubb stakeholders at country, regional and global levels
- Ongoing assessment of market opportunities, development of business cases and assessment of competitor activities and products
- Building relationships within all levels of Latin America region and Global teams to facilitate product worthiness, relevancy, and speed to market
- Contribute and share best practices, learnings to facilitate the developing of new skills and knowledge of underwriters within the Latin America region
What we’re looking for:
- 5 years underwriting or actuarial experience in Accident & Health, personal lines, life, or other consumer products
- Advanced level of SAS and EMBLEM an advantage
- Insurance industry, Fintech, Insurtech or end-to-end consumer Digital experience advantageous
